KWASU Appoints Salawu as Acting Director

Dr. Ibrahim Salawu Named Acting Director, KWASU Centre for Politics and Corporate Governance

Prof. Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), has appointed Dr Ibrahim Ogirima Salawu as the Acting Director of the Centre for Politics and Corporate Governance to serve for a year.
The appointment was announced in a letter dated November 28, 2025, and signed by the registrar.

Jimoh, an associate professor in the department of politics and governance, specialises in political institutions, public policy, and governance.

Before he was appointed the director, he had served as the sub-dean of KWASU’s School of Postgraduate Studies.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria, a member of the American Political Science Association, the Canadian Political Science Association, and a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association.
