Lagos State University (LASU) has published its official academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, spelling out key dates for both freshers and returning students.
According to the timetable, registration for newly admitted students will run from Monday, September 15, to Friday, October 3, 2025. Returning students are expected back on campus from October 6, with lectures and registration taking place until December 19. That gives both groups about 11 weeks of academic activities.
The school also announced a two-week Christmas and New Year break from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026.
LASU authorities explained that the calendar will guide both students and staff, and also help the university stick to its schedule for the new academic year.
