The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Prof Moji Taibat Bakare-Odunola, has advised all candidates who took part in the school’s POST-UTME exercise to regularly check the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for updates on their admission status.
Bakare-Odunola gave the advice recently, after the conclusion of the exercise, which was held at the University Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor explained that the admission process at the University of Ilorin commenced immediately after the screening and stressed the need for candidates to frequently monitor their JAMB CAPS portals in order to accept admission offers once recommended promptly.
She stated that the university remains committed to following JAMB’s directives strictly, in line with its tradition of compliance with regulatory guidelines. She added that candidates who see their names on JAMB CAPS have been offered admission through the university’s recommendation.
Meanwhile, a total of 20,590 candidates participated in the institution’s aptitude test, as earlier reported by Campulse.
