In a call for quality sleep for optimum academic performance among Nigerian students, Mouka is set to organise the 6th edition of the Mouka Award for Excellence, urging participation of schools.
With over six decades of experience in providing sleep solutions, Mouka said, it remains committed to supporting education and wellness through innovation and impactful CSR initiatives such as these.
The Mouka Award for Excellence initiative, launched in 2020 under Mouka’s fifth CSR pillar, ‘Skills for Life,’ aims to recognise the best graduating students across Nigerian universities, while promoting the importance of quality sleep in achieving academic distinction.
Past recipients of this award include reputable institutions such as Nile University of Nigeria (Abuja), Covenant University (Ogun), Achievers University (Owo), and Elizade University (Ondo).
Speaking on the initiative, Chief Commercial Officer of Mouka, Dimeji Osingunwa, noted that “Academic success is closely linked to sleep quality. Scientific studies have shown that students who enjoy consistent quality sleep perform significantly better academically.
“At Mouka, we are not only rewarding excellence but also leading the conversation around sleep as a catalyst for better learning outcomes,” he added.
