National Youth Games: Kwara Six-Year-Old Wins Gold in Scrabble

A six-year-old, Abdulsalam Yusuf, has won gold for Kwara State in Scrabble at the 9th National Youth Games.

Yusuf, the youngest athlete at the competition and a Primary One student at Bethel Primary School in Offa, demonstrated a remarkable mastery of complex words and strategic play.

The young prodigy credited his success to a combination of factors, including his love for the game, rigorous training, and the support of his family, his coach, Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Meanwhile, the win is being celebrated as a direct result of Governor AbdulRazaq’s sustained investment in empowering young people throughout the state.
