Prof Lawan B. Buratai, VC of the Nigerian Army University, Biu (NAUB), Borno State
Prof. Lawan B. Buratai, the Vice-Chancellor of the Nigerian Army University, Biu (NAUB), Borno State, has approved the appointments of two substantive officers.
The appointment was formally signed and announced by the deputy registrar on behalf of Lt Col Oyono Stephen Job, the acting registrar, in a letter with Reference: NAUB/MGT/G1/300/10, in recognition of the officers’ contributions to the university’s development, wealth of experience, and knowledge.
One of the officers is Dr Hammajam Alhaji Abba from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who has been appointed as the Overseer Director of the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Development.
The other officer is Dr Abdulsalami M. Deji (Department of History), appointed as the Overseer Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Management Sciences.
Following the appointment, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the officers and advised them to use their expertise to develop further the university, their directorate, faculties, and departments.
