The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has commended Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, the Comptroller General (CGC) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), a former Vice President of the NIPR, and a fellow, for his contributions during his tenure and for his innovative initiatives.
The institute applauded Adeniyi, emphasising that he made the NCS a leader in revenue generation in the country.
Likewise, they commended his efforts to project Nigeria’s image positively at the national and international levels after he was elected chairman of the World Customs Organisation (WCO).
According to the NIPR, “The CGC has deployed public relations to deepen transparency, drive trust, and entrench accountability, contributing to the improved revenue-generating capacity of the Service under his leadership. He has communicated his vision clearly and secured the trust of stakeholders. The NCS under him has experienced a transformation.”
