NIQS to Inaugurate Bashir as 28th President

The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) will formally install Dr Aminu Muhammad Bashir, FNIQS, as its 28th President during the 31st Biennial Conference and General Meeting, scheduled for November 19-22, 2025, at the Nigeria Army Conference Centre, Abuja.
The event, themed “Rebuilding Nigeria: Enhancing National Development Through Fiscal Reforms, Infrastructure Planning, and the New Governance Imperative,” will feature notable guests, including former Bauchi State Governor Ahmadu Adamu Muazu as Chairman and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin as Special Guest of Honour.
Bashir, a respected professional with over 25 years of experience in private practice and a decade in academia, holds degrees in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, including a PhD. His service to NIQS spans roles including National Secretary General, Secretary for International Affairs, and Chairman of the Kano State Chapter.
As President, he aims to advance professional excellence, capacity building and national development through improved cost management and sustainable infrastructure delivery.
