NMCN’s resource verification visit to the Department of Nursing Science at the Iconic Open University
The Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has conducted a resource verification visit to the Department of Nursing Science at the Iconic Open University.
The visit was made to assess the university’s human and material resources available for educating and training nurses for their Bachelor’s degree.
The Council promised to encourage the university’s efforts to meet the set standards, ensuring that nursing students receive quality skills, training, and recognition in the Bachelor’s degree programme.
Following the assessment, the panel expressed satisfaction with the university’s Open and Distance Learning System.
The department and the university management pledged their willingness to comply with the Council’s guidance to ensure the programme is well-delivered.
