NTIC Students Win Big at African Games

Nigeria’s sporting talent shone brightly at the 1st African School Games in Algeria, with students of Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) making a significant contribution. Team Nigeria won 25 medals in total – six gold, 10 silver, and nine bronze – across 10 sports. NTIC students alone bagged seven medals: four gold, two silver, and one bronze.

Miracle Ezechukwu claimed two gold medals in the 200m and medley relay, plus a silver in the 100m. Rosemary Nwakwo also won two gold medals in the 100m and medley relay, and a silver in the 200m. Unique Umeh added a bronze medal in taekwondo.

NTIC’s Managing Director, Dr Fevzullah Bilgin, praised the students for making Nigeria proud, noting that they are on a 100% sports scholarship that supports both academics and athletics. He said their victory is proof of Nigeria’s growing strength in youth sports.
