NUC Approves Four Programmes in LASU

Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, VC of LASU

The National Universities Commission has approved four full-time undergraduate courses for the Lagos State University (LASU) within the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology.

In a statement issued by Mrs Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile, LASU’s Deputy Registrar and Coordinator, the approval will reinforce the institution’s position as a leader in technology-driven education.

This approval follows a recent rigorous resource verification visit to the university by panels of experts tasked with assessing the availability of human and material resources for the proposed programmes.

The deputy registrar added that the approval demonstrates LASU’s commitment to providing cutting-edge education that aligns with global technological advancements. She emphasised that the approval only applies to full-time study.
