Bar. Mrs Uto Ukpanah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Obong University, has been appointed the 30th Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). She becomes the first woman to hold the position in the institute’s history.
The appointment was described as a recognition of her leadership, integrity, and experience in governance and corporate administration at Obong University, Bar. Ukpanah has overseen strategic initiatives aimed at improving academic standards and institutional development.
Speaking on the milestone, the University highlighted that her new role strengthens the connection between academia and professional practice, providing a platform to advance ethical administration and corporate governance on a national level.
