Pan-Atlantic University will convene its 3rd Media Roundtable on Thursday, November 20, to examine how the media can accelerate Nigeria’s progress toward the African Union’s Agenda 2063. The session will be held at Lagos Business School and streamed live online.
Current AU tracking shows that only 10 African countries have achieved at least 50 per cent of the First Ten-Year Plan targets (2014–2023). AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria has flagged limited public awareness as a core barrier, noting that the media remains underutilised in shaping national commitment and accountability.
Keynote speaker Dr Tayo Aduloju of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group will lead the discussion. Panellists include Dr Jubril Adeojo of SMEFUNDS Capital, Nina Mbah of African Climate Stories, Ayo Mairo-Ese of Arise TV, and Frederick Mordi, PhD, of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. The session will be moderated by Dr Margaret Agada-Mba.
The roundtable will explore how journalism and strategic communication can drive action on economic growth, climate resilience and governance reforms. Participation is free.
