Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, has held an orientation programme for its newly recruited staff members who joined the institution between January 2024 and September 2025.
The programme was designed to acquaint the fresh staff with the university’s vision, mission, values of excellence and integrity, work ethics, and available support services.
The orientation was held over two days, with non-academic staff sessions conducted on Wednesday, September 17, while academic staff sessions followed on Thursday, September 18.
Speaking at the opening of the orientation for non-academic staff, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, ffan, fffps, described the group as the backbone of the university’s operations. He emphasised that the university’s academic mission cannot be achieved without their consistent support and dedication to duty.
“Our academic mission cannot be achieved without you. You are not just employees but custodians of the values of the university. I encourage you to approach your service with diligence and excellence,” Akindele said.
