Researchers from the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute will gather at the 2025 American Society of Haematology (ASH) annual meeting, scheduled for December 6-9, 2025, to present their research discoveries and outcomes from haematology/oncology clinical trials.
The presentations have featured researchers from the Institute sharing a new treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia, which has not received standard care for 50 years.
The meeting presents a new therapy for an autoimmune bleeding disorder, the first in-human trial of CAR-T cell therapy in patients with multiple myeloma, and a detailed study of prognostic indicators of overall survival in patients with T-cell lymphoma.
On December 7, 2025, Dr Amir Fathi, the Director of the Leukaemia Program at the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, presented the results of the PARADIGM Study, a phase 2, multicentre, prospective study of treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
The results showed that patients treated with Aza/Ven had improved event-free survival and better overall response rates to therapy.
