Senator Sharafadeen Alli has described renowned industrialist and elder statesman Kola Daisi as a blessing to Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria.
Alli, who represents Oyo South in the Senate, congratulated the Bashorun of Ibadanland on his 93rd birthday, praising his contributions to industrial growth, philanthropy and education.
In a statement issued in Ibadan, the lawmaker commended Daisi’s generosity and service to society, saying he had “positively impacted countless lives and left indelible marks on the sands of time.”
Alli, also the Ekarun-Balogun of Ibadanland, said the state remained proud of the nonagenarian’s achievements, which he noted had inspired younger generations to embrace hard work and communal development. He prayed for Daisi’s continued good health and urged young Nigerians to emulate his values of service, humility and selflessness.
