SROL Wins CIPM HR Award Again

Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) has retained the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) HR Oscar Award for Best Practices in the Mining Sector for the second consecutive year.
The honour was announced at the 57th CIPM International Conference and Exhibition held on October 28, 2025, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja. The award recognises organisations demonstrating excellence in human capital management and innovation.
SROL’s Human Resources Manager, Oluwaseun Fagesi, said the win validates the company’s commitment to global HR standards. “This award reflects the collective effort of our team and our drive to embed world-class HR practices across our operations,” he stated.
The company employs 99 per cent Nigerians, with 37 per cent from host communities, surpassing its community development targets. It also promotes gender inclusion and continuous employee training in technical and leadership roles.
Beyond workforce development, SROL supports local education, health and infrastructure initiatives, echoing its reputation for responsible mining.
