Stakeholders Seek ₦440B Investment in Almajiri Education

Stakeholders at the Kaduna International Education Summit, tagged EduPACT 2025, have requested ₦440 billion to reform Almajiri Education.

The fund will be invested in the Technical, Vocational, Education, and Training (TVET) of the Almajiri children.  Additionally, the fund will equip Almajiri children with vocational skills that meet industry standards, thereby boosting economic growth. The summit revealed its plans to provide children with formal and vocational education by removing uniform and fee barriers.  It also recommended the use of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning, as well as exploring solar and modular systems to enhance digital education.
