The Federation of Sokoto State Students Association (FOSOSSA) has commended Governor Ahmad Aliyu for his significant contributions to the state’s education sector.
Comrade Yusuf Sabi’u, FOSOSSA President, described Aliyu’s leadership as dynamic and compassionate. According to FOSOSSA, one of the key interventions of the governor was the payment of outstanding tuition and registration fees for Sokoto students in various tertiary institutions. Likewise, the association applauded the governor for paying the tuition fees of Sokoto students studying abroad.
FOSOSSA described the act as restoring the hope and dignity of international scholars. In addition, they appreciated the governor’s inclusion of student leaders in the state’s decision-making processes.
