Sterling Bank partners Pan Atlantic University’s EDC to certify Non-Oil Export Academy graduates
Sterling Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of Pan-Atlantic University to formally certify graduates of its Non-Oil Export Academy.
The partnership aims to strengthen Nigeria’s non-oil export capacity and reduce dependence on crude oil revenues.
The Sterling Bank Non-Oil Export Academy equips Nigerian exporters with knowledge of global standards, business structuring, and competitiveness in international markets.
Speaking at the signing in Lagos, Sterling Bank CEO Abubakar Suleiman said the initiative goes beyond training, seeking to create competitive, globally aware exporters.
EDC Director Dr Nneka Okekearu welcomed the collaboration, noting the centre’s 23 years of experience in entrepreneur development and expressing excitement about supporting the programme’s objectives.
The partnership marks a strategic step in building an ecosystem that advances national interests through non-oil export growth.
