Bishop David Oyedepo, Chancellor of Covenant University
The Chancellor of Covenant University, Bishop David Oyedepo, has urged Nigerian youths to take full responsibility for their lives, warning that failure awaits anyone who shirks it.
Speaking in an interview in Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo said responsibility is the price of greatness, stressing that no one fails until they start blaming others.
He cautioned that those who neglect responsibility early in life risk becoming liabilities later, advising youths to take ownership of their choices and actions. “If you fail or succeed in life, it is your choice. When you leave your life to chance, you do not have a chance,” he said.
Oyedepo, who is also the President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, further charged young people to uphold integrity, noting that a lack of character diminishes value. He added that the world awaits the youth’s impact, and they must not disappoint destiny.
