Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on National Assembly Matters, Ibrahim Olarenwaju, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his induction into the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Hall of Fame.
In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Monday, Olarenwaju described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of the governor’s contributions to education and the advancement of his alma mater. He noted that Oyebanji’s induction was particularly historic, as he is the first EKSU alumnus to become the state’s governor, adding that the gesture reflected his enduring support for the university.
Olarenwaju commended the governor’s leadership, citing the over 100% increase in the university’s subvention as proof of his commitment to institutional growth and academic excellence.
He described Oyebanji as “a shining example of the quality of leaders nurtured by Ekiti State University.” He said the recognition speaks to his legacy as a visionary leader whose achievements inspire future generations of EKSU graduates.
