Yetunde Olumide, UNILAG first Emeritus Professor of Medicine, commissions the LUTH dermatology centre
Yetunde Olumide, the first Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has commissioned the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) dermatology centre.
Describing the centre as a hub of top-notch dermatology care, she emphasised that it will enhance patients’ care outcomes and offer educational, training, and learning services.
Expressing her excitement about the new centre, she said, “I am overwhelmed with joy to be alive to witness this landmark achievement. No doubt, the provision of this facility will encourage those we trained to remain at home and not depart for greener pastures abroad.”
Dr Wasiu Adeyemo, LUTH’s Chief Medical Director, stated that the fully funded and equipped facility has all that is necessary for patient care, research, and training.
