WHO, FCDO Donate Vehicles, Hospital Equipment, other Items To Enugu Colleges Of Nursing, Enugu
The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) have donated training items, equipment, and vehicles to the Colleges of Nursing in Awgu, Park Lane, and Enugu, Enugu State.
The organisation donated eight sets of 3D electronic boards, five suction machines, 13 three-in-one photocopy machines, and 145 desktop computers. Likewise, they gave the colleges a lot of hostel, nursing, training, and laboratory equipment.
Dr Pavel Ursu, the WHO Country Director, speaking at the handover ceremony, said the organisations made the donations after collaborating with the Enugu State government to conduct a thorough infrastructure readiness assessment of the colleges.
Governor Peter Mbah appreciated the WHO and FCDO for their kind donations, emphasising that they will positively impact the people’s well-being.
