The University of Lagos will begin its annual teaching practice programme for final-year education students on Wednesday, September 10.
The orientation will take place at the Jelili Omotola Hall on the university’s main campus. This year’s programme is themed “The Teaching Profession in the 21st Century: Between Theoretical Studies and Practical Realities.”
According to the Faculty of Education, 2,170 students are expected to take part in the 12-week exercise, which forms a key part of their training as teachers. The teaching practice is designed to give student-teachers practical classroom experience in schools across Lagos and beyond.
