The University of Ilorin has emerged as the first runner-up and won ₦75 million in the 2025 National Mega Award Contest organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The competition reaffirmed JAMB’s commitment to quality education and institutional integrity.
UNILORIN earned 9 points across five assessment categories, securing it the second position and the cash prize. Prof. Suwaiba Ahmed, Minister of State for Education, commended the institution for its unwavering legacy and continuous ability to build academic excellence. Mr. Kunle Akogun, representing Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, the Vice Chancellor, attributed the achievement to the university’s ongoing commitment to academic and administrative excellence.
