Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, has produced 49 first-class graduates at its 15th convocation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session.
A total of 2,505 students graduated across the university’s 15 faculties. The breakdown showed 988 in Second Class Upper, 1,279 in Second Class Lower, 178 in Third Class, and one Pass.
The Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences led with 10 first-class graduates, followed by Engineering with 7, Culture with 7, Social Sciences with 5, and Management Sciences with 5. Other faculties recorded between one and three first-class graduates each.
In Law, 122 students graduated, including 2 with first-class honours, while Nursing Sciences produced 89 graduates, with one achieving first-class honours. Computing and Information Technology recorded one first-class graduate among 86 students.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Clement Adebooye praised the graduates for their outstanding performance and urged them to apply their knowledge toward societal development.
