Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has welcomed the opening of Lotus Bank’s first campus branch on its main campus in Osogbo. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, visited the new branch on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, alongside other university officials.
Professor Adebooye praised the bank for helping more people, especially students and young people, to access banking services. He called it a bold and innovative move and promised the university’s full support. With over 13,000 students and many staff members, he said the bank could expect strong support from the school community.
The Branch Manager, Mrs. Oluwadunsin Adekanmi, thanked the university for welcoming them. She promised to provide good, interest-free banking services. She also shared plans to offer free Wi-Fi for customers, which will make banking easier for students who frequently use technology.
