Edwin Clark University, Delta State
Edwin Clark University, Delta State, has recorded all-round success in the accreditation of its academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Prof. Samuel Tita Wara, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, disclosed this at the combined 4th to 7th convocation ceremony.
While speaking, the Vice-Chancellor noted, “Since its establishment in 2015, Edwin Clark University has expanded from two Faculties to five fully functional Faculties and a Postgraduate School. We currently offer 22 fully accredited academic programmes with 100% accreditation success across all NUC evaluations. Planned programmes for the near future include Public Health, Unbundling of Mass Communication, Cyber Security, and Software Engineering, among others.”
Prof. Oladapo A. Afolabi, the pro-chancellor and chairman of the governing council, stated that the institution has set discipline and accountability as its key structures.
He emphasised, “Little wonder NUC ranked the University as 25th overall and 6th among private universities in 2023.”
