Prince Adewole Adebayo, Ex-Presidential Candidate of SDP Bags PhD from Western Delta Varsity
Western Delta University (WDU), Oghara, Delta State, has awarded Prince Adewole Adebayo, the 2023 Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, an honourary doctorate degree in political science.
Following the conferment, the political party, in a statement signed by Dr Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe, the acting national chairman, congratulated Adebayo.
The party described the honouree as deserving of the award, adding that the conferment testifies to his contributions to the country’s development.
Furthermore, the party highlighted his work as a media entrepreneur, philanthropist, public intellectual, and political figure.
Acknowledging his contribution to the political party, the SDP reaffirmed his confidence and plan to reshape Nigeria’s institutions, economy, and sustainability.
In addition, they appreciated how he is tackling poverty and gaining recognition both within and outside the country.
