An eight-year-old Nigerian girl has received a dual scholarship to support her education and football training under the Real Madrid Foundation’s Educational Football Programme.
The unnamed girl, selected from hundreds of young talents, will benefit from full academic sponsorship and advanced sports mentorship through the foundation’s partnership with a local development agency. Officials say the initiative is aimed at nurturing football talent while promoting formal education among African children. The girl’s family expressed gratitude for the life-changing opportunity, describing it as a “dream come true.”
