The National Examinations Council (NECO) has temporarily closed its examination portals due to scheduled maintenance. The council shared the news on its official website: “All our examination portals will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.” Before the announcement, students in Nigeria and Nigerian students who secured university admission abroad experienced issues while trying to use the website to check results, process documents, and complete verification. The issue has delayed students’ meetings with international deadlines for document submission and scrutiny.
