The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) has revealed its plans to enhance healthcare service delivery through artificial intelligence (AI), innovation, and tech.
Dr Peter Ebeigbe, the college’s national president, revealed this at the opening ceremony of the 19th Annual Scientific Conference and Fellows’ Meeting (ASCAF CALIPHATE 2025) in Sokoto State. He noted that the institution decided this because of the need to diversify and restructure Nigeria’s health sector, as AI is changing every sector in the world. Ebeigbe added that the conference will explore ways to include the private corporate sector in postgraduate medical education.
