Prof. Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole, VC, Ajayi Crowther University
The Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Prof. Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole, has ordered the relocation of the university’s Part-Time Studies Centre to Offa-Metta to accommodate its growing student population. The directive was issued on Friday, November 7, 2025, to Dr O.A. Ajeigbe, Director of Part-Time Studies.
Prof. Oduwole noted that the current facility is too small and inadequate for the centre’s operations, which serve around 5,000 students. She emphasised that a more spacious and permanent location would better support the centre’s expansion, infrastructure needs, and overall effectiveness.
During discussions, Dr Ajeigbe raised concerns regarding staffing and lecturers’ remuneration. In response, the Vice-Chancellor instructed departments requiring additional personnel to submit formal requests and directed that proposals for enhanced lecturers’ honoraria be submitted separately to her office for consideration.
The planned relocation underscores the university’s commitment to enhancing facilities and creating an environment that supports part-time students, while ensuring that academic standards and staff welfare are maintained.
