Ajisope Development Initiative Praises Federal Government’s Free Technical Education

The Ajisope Development Initiative has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its policy on free education in all Federal Technical Colleges (FTCs) across Nigeria.

The founder of the initiative, Abdulkabir Ajisope, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Osogbo, Osun State, tasking parents to enrol their children for the opportunity.

Recall that the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, announced that the government would cover all costs in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to him, the free package includes not only the tuition but also boarding, uniforms, textbooks, exercise books, prospectuses, ID cards, stationery, medical services, vocational charges, utilities, security, digital learning tools, extra lessons, and even insurance.

Ajisope described the policy as the best in the education sector, noting that it would ensure equal access to education and promote technical education in Nigeria.

He noted that technical education fosters problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, leading to greater personal and professional growth, and provides the skilled workforce needed to drive economic growth and development.
