BIU Post-Graduate Students Shine at NSAP Conference, Bring Home Multiple Awards
Postgraduate students from Benson Idahosa University’s Department of Animal Science and Animal Technology excelled at the Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP) Conference, clinching multiple awards.
The delegation was led by Ag—Head of Department, Dr Ilaboya Ibinabo, under the leadership of Faculty Dean, Dr S.O.E. Alakpa.
Raphael Okuna was named Best Student in Animal Breeding and Genetics and secured Third Best Overall Presenter, while Rusak Abdulazeez won Second-Best Oral Presentation in Monogastric Nutrition and Production.
The students’ achievements were formally celebrated during a courtesy visit to Vice Chancellor Prof. John Okhuoya, who commended their dedication and urged continued excellence.
The faculty delegation expressed gratitude to university management for fostering an environment of academic excellence and research innovation.
