KASU Library Receives Books’ donation from the Wall of Kindness Foundation
Kaduna State University has received a donation of accounting textbooks from the Wall of Kindness Foundation, following a courtesy visit by the charity on November 25.
The group, which supports people facing health challenges and runs a community food-donation scheme, met with university officials to explore further ways to assist the KASU community.
Speaking during the visit, the foundation’s co-founder, Hajiya Hafsat Dangaji, said the organisation was committed to widening access to learning materials. “We are honoured to present these books to the university library. Access to knowledge is a crucial tool for growth,” she said.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Strategy, Innovation and Service Delivery, Professor Helen Afang Andow, received the books on behalf of the university. She praised the gesture, saying it would “have a lasting impact on students who rely on the library for their studies”, adding that such support reassured the institution that its efforts to strengthen academic standards were being recognised.
University officials said the donation reflected KASU’s growing appeal to partners keen to promote education and community welfare.
