The Citadel School of Government (CSG) will host the first edition of its Dialogue Series in Lagos on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Themed Nigeria at 65: Historical Reflections, Futuristic Projections, the event is being held in partnership with the University of Lagos Business School as part of the Advanced Diploma in Public Leadership and Statecraft programme.
Key speakers include Professor Emeritus Akinjide Osuntokun, Nigeria’s first Ambassador to Germany, who will examine the historical roots of the country’s current challenges and explore lessons for the future. Dr Tunde Bakare, Founder and Chairman of the Citadel School of Government, will lead an intergenerational session on bridging Nigeria’s leadership gaps.
The dialogue, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the CSG Lecture Hall, will be streamed live on Zoom and YouTube to facilitate virtual participation.
The organisers say the series is intended to provide a platform for reflection, dialogue, and the exchange of ideas on Nigeria’s future.
