Ecobank Provides Specially-Abled Children with Digital Learning

Bolaji Lawal, Managing Director/Regional Executive, Ecobank Nigeria

Ecobank has provided specially-abled children with digital learning tools as it celebrates Ecobank Day 2025.

The bank undertook this initiative to improve the children’s education as part of its 2025 flagship corporate social responsibility event, themed “Enabling Inclusive Learning for All.”

Bolaji Lawal, Managing Director/Regional Executive of Ecobank Nigeria, mentioned that the event is the bank’s contribution to making education accessible and inclusive for all children.

To celebrate the event, Ecobank visited and supported the following schools: Omoyeni School for the Blind in Ibadan; OPM Free School for Children Born with Autism and Down Syndrome in Port Harcourt; Hope Fountain Foundation for the Deaf in Lagos; and the Niger State School for Special Education in Minna.

Tony Nwokolo, the Proprietor of Hope Fountain Foundation for the Deaf, described Ecobank’s kind gestures as an act beyond mere donations.
The proprietor said the step taken will give the children more visibility, confidence, and understanding that they matter too.
