Dr Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, Edo Commissioner of Education, has awarded a full scholarship to two students with special needs, Efe Jude and Elisha Osisike.
The commissioner gave Jude the scholarship to study law, while he paid for one of Osisike’s academic sessions.
Addressing the students, Iyamu asked them to stay focused and disciplined regardless of the challenges they encounter.
He further told them to see their disabilities as a source of uniqueness rather than a setback, adding that hard work is a key tool for achieving their goals.
The students appreciated the commissioner for his support and inclusive leadership.
