Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, the Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, Lagos State, has revealed his plan to promote student-led chapel activities, decentralise services, and maintain discipline through mentorship.
While speaking with newsmen, he said, “We want to ensure that Caleb University is run on godly principles and continues to raise students who are becoming more and more like Jesus in every way.”
The Vice-Chancellor mentioned that the institution has introduced the Caleb Academic Potentialisation Scheme (CAPS) to assist students with low Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) through mentorship and tutorials.
In addition, he said the school now has a digitalised student management system and is integrating AI into its curriculum.
