The Federal Government has endorsed the maiden National Science, Technology, and Innovation Communication Conference (STICOMMS’25), scheduled to take place from October 21 to 23, 2025, at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja.
Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, gave the assurance when he received AUST President, Prof. Azikiwe Peter Onwualu, FAS, and members of the conference’s Local Organising Committee (LOC) in his office in Abuja recently.
Describing the event as the first of its kind, Nnaji said the initiative aligns with the government’s efforts to promote research and innovation outputs from the country’s research agencies.
He pledged that the ministry would collaborate with AUST and its partners to ensure the success of the conference. The minister further announced the deployment of two senior officials to the LOC to guarantee the ministry’s full representation in planning and participation.
