The management of the Federal Polytechnic (Fedpoly), Ede, Osun State, has urged the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) to fence the institution to protect it from land grabbing.
Prof. Taiwo Olaiya, the governing council chairman of the institution, appealed on Monday, July 28, 2025, when inspecting the landscaping of TETFund projects in the school. According to him, “Many of the infractions between tertiary institutions in the country and the host community are due to encroachment caused by the delay of institutions to fence their campuses.” He added that the institution is ready to partner with TETFund for the fencing.
