The 19th edition of the ÆLEX Annual Lecture, one of Nigeria’s respected platforms for legal and economic dialogue, will take place on October 14 in Lagos.
This year’s theme is “Rule of Law and Economic Development: The Nigerian Experience.” Speaking on the upcoming event, Adedapo Tunde-Olowu, SAN, Managing Partner at ÆLEX, said: “The rule of law is not just a legal construct; it is the foundation for economic progress, investor confidence, and lasting prosperity.”
Former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, will deliver the keynote address, while a panel of top voices in business, law, and public affairs will share insights.
Panellists include Dr Chinyere Almona, DG of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr Wale Babalakin, SAN, Chairman of Bi-Courtney Group; Mr Bismarck Rewane, MD of Financial Derivatives Company Ltd.; and Dr Reuben Abati, journalist and public affairs analyst.
