Finalists Showcases Innovation, Commitment at Coderina University Challenge (COUCH) 2025
The Coderina Education and Technology Foundation, in collaboration with the National Universities Commission (NUC), hosted the Grand Finale of the Coderina University Challenge (COUCH) 2025 at the NUC Auditorium, Abuja. Ten finalist teams were selected from over 62 entries nationwide.
Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr Kingsley Tochukwu, praised COUCH for transforming research “from the shelves to the marketplace,” aligning with the ministry’s national innovation agenda.
NUC Executive Secretary, Mallam Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu, highlighted the commission’s support and encouraged finalists to use their prizes to enhance entrepreneurship and technical skills.
Special Adviser to the President on Economic Affairs, Dr Tope Kolade Fasua, emphasised technology’s role as a key driver of global economic growth and linked Nigeria’s transformation to youth innovation.
Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, urged stronger industry-university partnerships to ensure sustainable national development.
