Foundation Donates Shoes to Kaduna Students

The Shoe My Feet Foundation has distributed 2,000 pairs of school shoes to pupils in six primary schools in Kaduna. Supported by the Rose Project and other partners, the donation targeted children from low-income backgrounds who struggle to attend school due to a lack of footwear.

Mrs. Philomena Ibhade Nwajagu, the foundation’s founder, stated that the initiative began with the distribution of 30 pairs in 2022 but has since grown through the support of strategic partners, friends, and family.  She emphasised that the foundation’s primary objective is to enhance school attendance, foster inclusion among vulnerable children, and promote self-esteem. Nwajagu added that the foundation aims to provide at least 5,000 pairs of school shoes annually to children in remote and rural areas.
