French Military Academy Collaborates with NDA

The French Military Academy, École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr (ESM), has collaborated with the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).
Major General AK Ibrahim OFR, the Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), revealed this on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, while receiving Lieutenant General Emmanuel Charpy, the Commandant of the ESM.

Ibarahim mentioned that the collaboration will focus on military education, leadership development, and language exchange. He added, “The NDA places a high premium on international cooperation, as it provides our cadets and officers with a broader perspective on leadership and operational excellence.”

Charpy said the visit is meant to strengthen the relationship between the institutions and to explore new areas for partnership, as they share the same vision of building leaders of character and competence.
