The Founder of Ilawo Akpidi Foundation (IAF), Hajiya Mariam Akpidi Yakubu, has donated educational materials to schools and urged greater support for the sector from the government and stakeholders.
Yakubu said quality education is critical to Nigeria’s future and stressed that individual and corporate contributions remain vital to complement the government’s efforts.
“Today, I feel fulfilled for contributing my small quota just as I call on Nigerians, both corporate and individuals, to toe this line,” she stated.
She noted that even small gestures can have a lasting impact on pupils, adding that the responsibility of educating children should not be left solely to the government.
