The Rector of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, Prof. Gozie Ogbodo, has formally welcomed the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) team to the Institute for the accreditation, re-accreditation, and resource inspection of ten academic programmes.
Ogbodo described the exercise as a partnership for excellence, emphasising IMT’s commitment to providing students with skills, competencies, and values that meet both national and global standards. He highlighted recent improvements in curriculum, infrastructure, staff development, digitisation, and industry linkages as part of the Institute’s drive for quality assurance.
Acknowledging the dedication of academic and non-academic staff in preparing for the accreditation, he assured the NBTE team of full cooperation and welcomed their observations and recommendations.
The Rector noted that accreditation is a continuous journey and reaffirmed IMT’s commitment to institutional strengthening, innovation, and excellence in technical and vocational education.
