Dr Nasir Idris, the Kebbi State Governor, has approved ₦60 million for the accreditation of eight academic programmes at the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Jega.
Responding to the approval, Hussaini Aliyu, the college provost, said the accreditation process is ongoing. He added that the governor also approved the renovation of hostels to improve students’ living conditions and learning.
This development follows the renovation of the Great Taatan Hostel at Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, which the institution’s public relations officer described as visible progress and a step to improve students’ lives.
